Hotelympia

The first event/exhibition that I have chosen is Hotelympia.

Hotelympia is the UK's largest hospitality and catering exhibition that runs every 2 years and this year falls between 26th February to 1st March. The exhibition involves everything from new products on the market such as equipment, drink, technology and design to guest speakers who are experts in their individual fields, sharing their views and experiences to help others.

Hotelympia is held at the ExCel London which boasts a whole host of other prestigious exhibitions and trade shows all year round. ExCel London is located in the heart of the Royal docks so therefore very easy to get to with rail links, a car park which can host up to 3,700 cars, there are also 6 Hotels and numerous bars and restaurants on-site which inevitably fits in well with the exhibition I have chosen.

For me this is going to be a really exciting event to follow as I am most interested in hospitality and catering side of events, so this will give me a fantastic insight into how the organisers go about advertising and marketing of Hotelympia!
